Instructional Ski Clinics

All children must be at least 5 years of age, be able to use a tow rope and ski unattended to participate.

This program is designed to teach young skiers modern ski techniques and apply these skills to downhill racing on Slalom and Giant Slalom ski courses.  We offer instruction to ages 5-14, however most kids in 6th-8th grade will attend the Middle School Program.   The focus is on learning the basic skills needed to become an accomplished skier and to learn everything needed to become a good ski racer.  This includes proper race day preparation, sportsmanship and teamwork.  The emphasis will be on having fun and developing a lifelong love of the sport of downhill skiing.

Participants in this program are eligible to participate in the Sunday Race Program (separate registration form required).  They also have an opportunity to qualify for regional ski invitationals against other ski clubs (additional fees apply if they qualify and choose to attend).  They may also take part in the end of season Awards Day with trophies, ribbons and family festivities.
